Edwin and John want tax-payers' money spent improving our local area

Stop Gold Gifts

Lib Dem campaigners Edwin Simpson and John Burt are calling on County Durham Labour Party to pay £1k to Brandon & Byshottles Parish Council. More than £1,000 was spent on gold jewellery to be given away as gifts. Labour councillors accepted gold brooches.

We think Labour should pay this money to Brandon & Byshottles Parish Council, so it can be used on play areas and community improvements rather than gold gifts for councillors.
